Bishop Donald Sanborn has sparked a shocking discussion following his personal opinion that, the Lord did not have a sense of humor in the ordinary human understanding of the term.
According to Bishop Sanborn, Jesus definitely smiles, but He had never laughed. The claim further raises an interesting question about how Christians understand Christ’s human nature and the way He interacted with people during His earthly days ministry.
Although, the four Gospels do not explicitly record Jesus laughing in any of it record. They only describe Him experiencing a range of human emotions, which includes compassion, sorrow, anger and joy.
