Pastor Steve J. Camp Hospitalized After Doctors Discover 4-Inch Abdominal Mass During Hospital Visit
Crosslife Church Pastor and Christian musician Steve J. Camp has reportedly been hospitalized after experiencing unusual fatigue and paleness for approximately two weeks, according to the update which was publicly shared by his dear wife, Cindy Camp, with their church family.
Cindy said Steve could be with the family soon but further stated that he was taken to the emergency department at Cleveland Clinic in Tradition after the couple became concerned about his condition. Blood tests reportedly showed that Steve hemoglobin level had fallen to at least 8, while his red blood cell count was at 2.89.

During his hospital evaluation, Steve received two units of blood. Doctors also conducted a CT scan, which showed a clear intestinal tract but revealed a mass measuring approximately four inches in his abdomen.
Some further medical tests have been planned to help the doctors determine the main causes of the mass and what treatment may be necessary. Cindy said Steve was scheduled to undergo an echocardiogram, followed by an endoscopy the following day.
Because of Steve health challenges followed by his hospitalization, the church’s scheduled Bible study was canceled for the evening. Cindy expressed gratitude for the prayers and said the family is trusting in God’s sovereignty and health restoration during the uncertain situation.

The church hopes to resume its study of Job 19, including the declaration, “I know that my Redeemer lives,” the following week.
