Bible teacher Mike Winger has raised concerns about the video in which charismatic preacher Shepherd Bushiri appears to demonstrate some acclaims spiritual gifting powers by performing what was presented to his followers and skeptics as a “walking on air” miracle.
Winger who watched the video, carefully examined the recording and pointed to several details that he believes cast doubt on the authenticity of the apparent miracle. His main focused was particularly on how the camera was positioned and moves during the demonstration of powers.
According to Winger, the person filming appears to look briefly from side to side, seemingly to show that nobody else is present. However, he stated that the camera does not reveal enough details of the surrounding area to completely back the rule up with such performance.
Mike Winger also points to the moment when Bushiri appears to float on the air. He notes that the camera quickly zooms in at the precise point when Bushiri’s body and the space around him would be most important for the viewers to see. Winger said this makes it difficult to determine whether someone could have been assisting him outside the camera’s view during his performance.
He further points to shadows and movements visible on the floor, suggesting they could potentially indicate activity by other people. He also draws attention to Bushiri’s changing arm position, sounds coming from the front door and other unexplained movement noises heard during the recording.
While these observations do not independently establish exactly how the demonstration was performed, Winger still argues that they raise significant questions about the video, which deserves an answers.
His main concern is the presentation of such dramatic demonstrations as the evidence of supernatural power from God. Winger’s reaction encourages viewers to examine extraordinary claims carefully rather than accepting a spectacular religious demonstration without scrutiny.
Most people can tell this is fake. But I’ll point out some problems just for those who think it’s real.
1. The camera person is consciously looking left and right to show no one else is there. But they only look a bit left and a bit right so people can easily still be there.
2. The camera zooms in so you can no longer see what he is doing with his arms or if anyone comes alongside him to help hold him up. The most important moment for him to be fully visible, he is not.
3. When he starts floating you see new shadows on the floor. These shadows show a lot of activity and when he stops floating they depart, meaning they can’t be his shadows. These are his helpers.
4. His arms change position so that instead of holding them up with bent elbows like he is just shaking you his hands he is later holding them out to his sides like he has just been bracing his body weight on the shoulders of two other people, one on his left and one on his right.
5. You hear the front door open and hear it make noise again before and after he floats. They even left it slightly ajar so that it starts the video closed and ends the video almost closed.
6. There are other movement sounds when he is supposed to be the only one moving.
Imagine him sitting and planning this out. Doing take after take till he got the video he wanted. And then sending it out as proof of God’s power in his ministry. I despise him and his friends.
Scumbags like this man should be exposed, mocked, reviled, and made bankrupt. He should especially be exposed by pastors in his own country.
Shepherd Bushiri is an evil fraud like Copeland and Hinn who he probably looks up to. A wolf. A devourer of the flock. There’s a 100% chance that he has a host of other lies and abuses toward people in God’s name.
