Todd Bentley pointed on the people and ministry relationships that, in his view, failed him unexpectedly following the Lakeland events 18 years ago. Speaking about the idea of spiritual “fathers” and “mothers,” he stated that he was expecting some kinds of greater support from those who presented themselves as apostles, fathers, or mentors, but eventually, none of them came through.
Bentley said reflecting on the experience, it took him a long time to process and digest it, particularly as people continued making a circulating statements online about him that his believes are untrue. Instead of him holding on those words, he prefer to remained focused. he said he has chosen to move forward with what he believes God has given him.
He described himself as a “new man” in 2026 which he highlights that his hope comes from remaining in the Father’s house. Bentley also spoke about a new spiritual season and the “new wineskin,” saying he believes God is preparing something significant for the future.
He concluded by emphasizing his relationship with God the Father and Jesus, describing Jesus as his brother and friend.

Glory in this Zoom school is about preparing you for what’s coming: the new wineskin. Because you can’t have the new wine without the wineskin of 2027, 26. Cannot have the wineskin. It’s had in the past. In fact, there’s a lasting wineskin that the Lord, the Father Himself, is preparing now, and that is what gives me hope.
Because the men of man and networks and people that say they’re going to be with you through everything, in the end are not with you the way that they said, and people fail you and fall into that, or the failure of apostolic fathers and everybody’s, Well, you’re my adopted daughter, and I claim you as my daughter. I’m your apostle. I’m your father.
There’s something we missed out, guys. And I said, God, the fathers and mothers failed me after Lakeland 18 years ago, and it took me a long time to get through the story, and through the story.
And now I’m in 2026, a new man, and they’re still writing and saying things about me on the internet that’s all not even true, and people that don’t really know me or care.
And in the end, I had to move forward, and I’m moving forward in what You’ve always given me, because I’ve got that everything, because I’ve never lost anything, because it’s always in the Father’s house.
As long as I’m in the Father’s house, I’m a son. And sons abide forever. You can’t kick me out, can’t cancel me.
How do we have hope now? Not just my hope, your hope. The bigger hope is for not just America, the world, keeping that hope alive, is in this revelation.
For me anyways, out of this revelation that I’m sharing, that I’m calling When the Father Stopped by Sovereign Grace, let’s get to know the Father one-on-one, because it’s like He’s here with me right now in this very moment, like the Father.
Everything is the Father. I’m saying Father more than I’m saying Jesus Holy Spirit right now.
And I remember when I got saved, everything was Jesus, Jesus, Jesus. Still is Jesus. Because He’s never not been here, my brother, my friend that’s closer than a brother.
Jesus has just been the easiest thing. Once you get saved, came to know Jesus, you get saved, know Jesus.
And what is prophecy, the prophetic, the testimony of Jesus? Makes sense that the bulk of anything you’re sharing needs to be the testimony.
This is a testimony. It’s the spirit of prophecy.
So I went, Well, the testimony of Jesus, the spirit of prophecy, we’re always going to be Jesus.
And Jesus is glad to go, I didn’t just come to show you that I get saved and resurrect all the promises. I came to show you this Father that I know and what relationship looks like with Him.
