Tim Tebow’s PR Team Reportedly Knew About Life Surge Allegations At Least Since 2025

Tim Tebow’s PR Team Reportedly Knew About Life Surge Allegations At Least Since 2025

Former American professional, Timothy Richard Tebow famously known as Tim Tebow, has paused every business and his relationship with Life Surge, a Christian organization responsible for hosting events combining faith, business and financial education, following a series of reports questioning the company’s sales practices.

The now trending development surfaces after a September 2026 investigation by journalist Kiera Butler of Mother Jones and podcaster Pablo Torre. Their reporting includes interviews with some of the former customers and “SL” employees and the examined complaints made to government agencies. On the other hand, critics have alleged that some Life Surge attendees were encouraged to purchase expensive financial education programs, and in most cases, take on substantial debt.

Tebow then offers a public statement on September 25 that the allegations were “extremely serious” and that his team would investigate the matter while he paused his relationship with Life Surge. He also said he had been caught off guard by some of the series of information presented in the investigation.

However, a new wave has raised, a report published by The Roys Report on September 28 raised questions about how much Tebow’s representatives knew before the latest investigation became public.

According to information from The Roys Report, its journalists contacted Tebow’s PR team on July 29, 2025, after investigating concerns surrounding Life Surge. The outlet then said it was directed to a specific public-relations email address and was sent a detailed questions that same day. Those questions included whether Tebow understood Life Surge’s financial programs, what is his involvement with the organization, and how he responded to those attendees who said they experienced financial difficulties after participating in the programs.

The Roys Report said it never received a response. It later learned from Life Surge’s public-relations team that Tebow’s representatives had informed Life Surge that they had received the July 2025 inquiry. The outlet subsequently published its own investigation into Life Surge on October 23, 2025.

Mother Jones later reported that Tebow had appeared at approximately 10 Life Surge events annually in 2024 and 2025. The investigation also examined claims involving expensive programs, including packages reportedly costing tens of thousands of dollars.

Life Surge has rejected the characterization of its business practices, saying it has compliance safeguards and that it does not train representatives to pressure people into unaffordable debt. The company also said it continues to respect Tebow and his work.

The Roys Report contacted Tebow’s representatives again on September 28, asking whether the 2025 questions had ever been presented directly to him, but reported receiving no response before publication.
