American author and Bible teacher, Jennie Allen shares her experience following an extraordinary response she witnessed from worshippers after preaching at The Church of Eleven22 in Jacksonville, Florida, on Thursday, September 17, 2026.
Allen was speaking as part of Saturated 2026, the church’s five-day worship and preaching event running from September 16 through September 20. Her scheduled appearances on Thursday included two services at 5:22 p.m. and 7:22 p.m.
Following the service, Allen took to her social media handles to share what she described as “one of the most insane things I’ve ever seen.”
According to her, the shocking response began during a moment focused on confession and repentance. She said everyone present in the room began openly calling out their sins, burdens and struggles rather than remaining silent.
Allen said the response extends across all different kinds of generations who were in the congregation, with people weeping and expressing total and genuine repentance.
The Bible teacher said the experience deeply affected her and she has urged Christians to pray for what she described as a continued move of God at Eleven22 and in churches elsewhere.
Allen went ahead to address suggestions that the emotional response should simply be dismissed as emotionalism. She publicly acknowledged personal struggles before fellow believers as an expression of courage and genuine desperation for God.
The Church of Eleven22 describes Saturated as an annual event centered on worship and preaching, with the church anticipating a movement of God in the lives of individuals and the wider congregation.
The Jacksonville-based church is led by Pastor Joby Martin and operates multiple campuses across Northeast Florida and South Georgia.
Allen’s comments have drawn attention to the unusual response she witnessed during the service, as she continues encouraging Christians to pray for spiritual renewal and revival.
