Beth Moore Reacts to the Arrest of Christian Author Heather Thompson Day and Her Husband, Seth Michael Day
Well-known American Christian author and Bible teacher, Beth Moore has reacted to the recent arrests of fellow colleague, Heather Thompson Day and her husband, Seth Michael Day, while stating that the allegations that were laid against them should go through the legal process.
Heather Thompson Day is a Christian author, speaker and professor known for writing and speaking about faith, relationships and everyday Christian life. She and her husband, Seth Michael Day have also co-authored a book named “I’ll See You Tomorrow”, a book which centered about relationships, forgiveness and navigating difficult seasons.
The couple, both 39-years of age, were arrested in Keene, Texas, on the 24th of September, 2026 following an investigation which involves an allegations concerning a child. Heather Thompson Day faces an injury-to-a-child-by-omission charge, while her husband Seth Michael Day faces charges related to injury to a child and se-xual assault of a child. The allegations have not been proven in court, still pending as an alleged.
Beth Moore in her recent twitt on X acknowledged the seriousness of the situation while stressing that she does not know what the eventual outcome will be. She also noted that the couple have the right to be heard by a jury and to have their case determined in court.
Much of Moore’s statement, however, focused on the child who reportedly came forward.
She further described the girl as “fiercely brave,” praising her for breaking what Moore described as a family code of silence and speaking about what she allegedly experienced.
Moore offered prayers for the said child, asking God to bless, heal and restore her. She also expressed hope that the girl would grow into what she described as an “astonishingly mighty woman of faith.”
The case remains ongoing, and the allegations against Heather Thompson Day and Seth Michael Day remain subject to the court process. Both couples have not yet been proven guilty to the allegations.

I don’t know what’s ahead regarding the allegations that led to the arrests of Seth & Heather Day. They have the right in this country to be heard by a jury and tried in court. But I know this: There’s one fiercely brave girl who defied the odds, broke the family code, marched her bruised body forward and TOLD. God bless that child, heal that child, restore that child and raise that child into one astonishingly mighty woman of faith.
