Kirk Franklin And GloRilla Team On A New Gospel Song – This Time
Kirk Franklin and American rapper, GloRilla have reunited for a new gospel collaboration titled “This Time,” released on September 25, 2026. The song brings Franklin’s choir-driven gospel sound together with GloRilla’s Memphis rap style, creating an amazing contemporary track which is centered on faith, perseverance and overcoming difficult seasons.
“This Time” is reported as the second musical collaboration between the two artists. They have previously worked on a single together “Rain Down on Me,” a collaboration which featured Maverick City Music and later won the Dr. Bobby Jones Best Gospel/Inspirational Award at the 2025 BET Awards.
The new song “This Time” is among Franklin’s upcoming album “I Am What I Am,” scheduled to be released on October 30. The 14-track project will feature both contemporary and traditional gospel music.
