God Is Real, He Is Trustworthy – Franklin Graham Responds to Billy Crystal’s Crisis Of Faith.
American preacher, Evangelist Franklin Graham has finally responded to awards winning actor, Billy Crystal’s comments about him losing trust in God following his painful experiences, stating that he believes that God remains trustworthy despite all life’s challenges.
The 78-year-old actor, Crystal, discussed while he is struggling with faith during an interview with the CBS Sunday Morning that was aired on October 11. During the interview, he spoke about the emotional impact of him losing his longtime Pacific Palisades luxurious home in the January 2025 to wildfires and the painful death of his close friend and filmmaker Rob Reiner.
When asked if he still spoke to God, heartbroken Crystal replied saying he no longer did, because he has withdrawn his trust from God, reflecting the questions and the disappointment he has experienced amid personal loss and troubling events around the world.
In response to that, Graham then reaffirmed his Christian convictions, declaring, “God is real, He is trustworthy and true. He loves us.”
