Richard Ackerman 23-years-old, vice president of Presbyterians for the Kingdom (PftK), has reportedly resigned from his leadership position as the Vice after a harmless incident involving an online joke about his Jewish heritage, (foundation).
Following the announcement which was shared by his church organization, They (PftK) said Ackerman had expressed his desire to step away for a season of personal improvement and growth. His resignation was consciously submitted and it was accepted by the board.
The announcement further explained that Ackerman (Redeemed Zoomer) wants to pursue a life centered more intentionally on Christ and consistent with the values of Presbyterians for the Kingdom. All reasons stated above referred back to a recent joke he made about his Jewish heritage online, saying the comment had crossed a line and it has become a wake-up call for him to examine his personal, work on improving himself and his relationship with Christ.
The development has gathered a lot of discussion online, with some reports and social-media discussions labelling the controversy as involving Holocaust-related humor.
