American Singer Keri Hilson, has reacted emotionally to the death of an 18-year-old Nolan Wells, whose body was found off Mississippi’s Horn Island two days after he suddenly disappeared during a Fourth of July gathering.
Wells reportedly went missing on the 4th Of July after traveling with age-grade friends to the barrier island. His body was recovered two days later, that was on July 6, and the circumstances surrounding his death have continued to attract more public attention.
A Mississippi grand jury has now declined to indict anyone in connection with Wells’ death after reviewing evidence from the investigation.
Following the latest incident development, a statement circulating online and attributed to Keri Hilson addressed Wells directly, saying, “NOLAN WELLS. We are sorry.”
The message then turned toward those who were allegedly involved, warning them that they would ultimately have to answer to a higher power someday.
According to her, “You can hide everything from the public, but you can’t hide anything from God,” the statement initially, referred to a “Universal Law” and accountability.
The reaction comes as questions surrounding Wells’ death remain unanswered. Authorities have said the circumstances were consistent with drowning, while medical examiners determined that the cause and manner of death remained undetermined.
Wells’ family have continued to seek answers following the final stands of grand jury decision.
